Netflix horror movie trailer terrifyingly mesmerizes

October is finally here. Halloween has become a month-long party best celebrated with spooky movies to get you in the holiday spirit. Every streaming service and many cable networks have a range of Halloween content, from family-friendly movies and TV shows to something a little darker. Netflix just released the full trailer for its upcoming horror movie Hypnotic, what stars The Haunting of Hill House actor Kate Siegel.

Netflix has special Halloween programming this year

Halloween is coming big on Netflix. The streaming service has 11 brand new horror titles that will premiere during the month of October. Additionally, a new Netflix horror movie will be available every Wednesday. This includes There is someone in your house, Fever dreams, Night teeth, and Hypnotic. Netflix has released trailers and other promotional material as each of the release dates draw near.

Netflix will also feature WWE-themed ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ movie. Escape the entrepreneur. But, for those looking for more family-friendly horror adventures, they’ll also offer Scary cats, A dark and grimm tale, and Sharkdog’s Fintastic Halloween. Netflix seeks to provide subscribers with a wide variety of horror movies and TV shows so that everyone can enjoy their spooky programming.

‘Hypnotic’ trailer teases the terror of hypnosis

Netflix’s YouTube channel just released the official Hypnotic trailer. It opens to a woman entering an elevator. She receives a phone call and her pupils dilate. Suddenly the walls start to close behind her until they seem to crush her to death. A social gathering introduces Jenn (Siegel) to Dr. Collin Meade (Jason O’Mara).

Jenn mentions that she suffers from anxiety and is struggling to find the motivation to keep her job. She recommended that he see Dr. Meade to help him manage his anxiety. He suggests trying hypnosis, freeing his mind. Similar to the opening sequence, she begins to have surreal visions after receiving a phone call. The trailer mentions how before hypnosis our minds are locked. Jenn’s mind being unlocked for Dr. Meade leads to several dangers.

It’s clear that something sinister is lurking behind Jenn’s hypnosis treatments, as she begins to have weird dreams. Dr Meade seems to have some sort of control over her. However, there is a mystery as to Dr. Meade’s purpose and why he is doing it. However, he’s not done with it yet. The doctor hid his fingerprints, making him impossible to find. He’s basically a ghost.

Hypnotic combines horror, thriller and mystery in this special Halloween title. The trailer ends with Dr. Meade’s face leaning towards the camera saying, “You can wake up now.”

Hypnotic click on Netflix just in time for Halloween starting October 27.
